Hi, everyone! My name is Tomi Asikainen and I've been a member of the Finnair Cargo Team for more than 22 years now. I am currently based in Shanghai, China as Area Director Asia. My journey to Asia after leaving Helsinki, Finland has gone via London, England and Frankfurt, Germany.
It has been a priviledge to be a part of Finnair Cargo's development in the Asia - Europe sector together with my professional local colleagues. We have witnessed many changes in the region and in market conditions, entered the freighter era as well as introduced routes to new destinations - our latest launch in May 2012 was the non-stop route between our home hub Helsinki and "the Mountain City" of Chongqing in western China.
